Lady Gaga Meat Dress Born This Way Tour

Lady Gaga‘s meat dress will be preserved a little longer than beef is in your stomach at the “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power” exhibit at the National Museum of Women and Arts.

The exhibit is meant to highlight women in rock music who’ve also struck the rights cords in humanitarian issues, such as women’s rights.

The event is a nice tribute to female rockers, but while we’re on the subject of  being pro-woman, it’s  best to touch on the fact that a diet consisting of what Gaga has worn on several occasions is about as far backwards as blocking ladies from voting.

Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde has a thing for older men.

Okay, not all older men.

They must be sexy. They must be former presidents of the United States. And they must follow a vegan diet.

So most geezers need not apply.

During a recent Tweet, Wilde expressed her fondness for Bill Clinton, one older, sexy, political vegan.

Jon Fitch

Jon Fitch can be added to the list of mostly vegetarian celebrities who’ve been mislead about the health benefits of adding meat to your diet.

The MMA fighter stated he has started to occasionally add animal products because it’s difficult to gain weight without them.

“I found out that going 100% vegan was good for me, but I was losing too much weight,” Fitch told Bloody Elbow. “I was at 183 pounds, walk-around weight, and that’s just too light for me. I don’t have enough mass.”

Mario Batali

To say that Mario Batali is a fan of cherries is perhaps an understatement.

Ask him how he likes to prepare the tart fruit and you’ll get more answers than a fruit salad.

“I’ll take some Michigan cherries and I’ll dress them with a little extra-virgin olive oil, some chopped jalapeños, a little cilantro, and some red wine vinegar. Suddenly, I’ll have something that almost behaves like a pickle relish. I’ll put it on my sandwiches. I’ll serve it with beans and rice. I’ll put it on top of my pizza. I’ll eat it like a salad just out of the refrigerator.”

Joss Stone

Joss Stone is normally a healthy vegetarian, but admits she sometimes packs on a few extra pounds here and there.

Blame it on the non-vegan food on tour.

“In Europe, all they want to give you is bread and cheese, bread and cheese, bread and cheese” Stone said.

“Thank God I can sing [for a living] because it really doesn’t matter how thin I am,” Joss explained to US publication Shape magazine. “It’s irrelevant! That’s what I think when I feel that I’ve put on weight. I quickly remind myself, I’m not a model. That’s not important.”
