Laura Bailey Runs Ethical And Fashionable With Stella McCartney Adidas

Written by Vegetarian Star on Friday, August 27th, 2010 in Fashion, Models.

If you live in the neighborhood of British model Laura Bailey, you might see her jogging down the street in her Stella McCartney sportswear before grabbing a bite of granola bar, a handful of nuts or maybe even chowing down on her favorite pasta. Bailey said it doesn’t matter what she eats, as long as it’s not animal.

“I try to choose foods that make me as healthy and energetic as possible. I’m a strict vegetarian but I eat everything else, and I like a glass of wine. I’m certainly not preachy or perfect!”

Bailey wears outfits designed by ethical designer Stella McCartney.

Last year, Playmate Jayde Nicole served up soy dogs and fixings, while this year model Vida Guerra gave the event some extra spice as she dressed in a swimsuit with dangling peppers and offered chili dogs to passersby on Capitol Hill.

It doesn’t get any more patriotic than this.

Between the two champs trying to save the country from processed meats, cancer and heart attacks…Who would you rather…

“I miss driving my cars [Dita has a 1939 Chrysler New Yorker, a 1965 Jaguar S-type and a BMW Z4] and some of my favourite vegetarian restaurants, although I am not actually a vegetarian,” Von Teese told Connexion France.

France is sometimes known for being a paradise for meat eaters, but according to food blogger David Lebovitz, there’s no shortage in vegetarian fare in the City of Lights.
