It’s too bad most schools have a ban against clothing with nudity on it, cause these t-shirts would be the biggest fad since leg warmers or 80s puffy bangs.

The closest some boys will have Charlotte Ross, an actress who’s had roles in Glee, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and NYPD Blue, naked and on their bodies is by wearing this shirt available at Urban Outfitters.

Kristen Bell has recently teamed up with the Humane Society to promote a program that will raise money for special needs pets.

The actress’ love for dogs was pretty evident when she hired a personal dog furniture designer to dress the upholstery for her own pet.

The owner of Kari Whitman Interiors, L.L.C. created Greener Pup Dog Beds, a line of canine furniture made from 100% recycled plastic with 100% of the profits benefiting Whitman’s animal rescue organization, Ace of Hearts.

Jennifer “J.Woww” Farley of the MTV reality TV show Jersey Shore has launched her own line of clothing, Filthy Couture. The collection features swimsuit and casual wear, many of the items given a sexy touch with traces of lace.

“[For] the bathing suits I wanted to go with a grungy, or sexy-grungy look with the chains, but I also wanted to keep it girly with the lace,” Farley told People at the launch party for the line.

Best of all, Filthy Couture has been confirmed by Peta to contain no leather or fur, ensuring the wearer of the material looks her hottest.

Stella McCartney Addidas Glow In The Dark

Love running in the dark and want to improve your visibility for safety reasons?

Stella McCartney has designed a set of glow in the dark sportswear items that features running shoes, shorts and more.

“Running is one of our most popular categories and for me to make it have its own point of view is really key,” said McCartney. “I think that we did it this season in a direct way by looking at glow-in-the-dark. When you are running in an urban environment, you need to feel safe, when people can see you coming and stand out, especially in winter when it gets dark earlier. But at the same time we used it on a leopard print, so it’s not so masculine and graphic.”

As would be expected from the vegetarian designer, Stella’s glow in the dark running shoes, priced at around $140, come completely leather-free.

Stella McCartney Could Design Queen’s Guards Faux Bear Skin Hats

Written by Vegetarian Star on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 in Animal Issues, Fashion.

Stella McCartney is proving once again she’s an ethical leader in the fashion industry by proposing to design the hats worn by the Queen’s guards, according to The Telegraph. The hats are traditionally made from bearskin, but PETA is set to meet with Peter Luff, minister for defence equipment, support and technology, to discuss a faux alternative they say meets rigorous standards for waterproofing and warmth.

The technology that could make this happen is called Bear28.

“I’ve been working on this with Peta for a few years now and am really happy with the final product, as I hope the MoD will be when they see it,” McCartney said.

Two years ago Chrissie Hynde met JP Jones at an art party in London. Jones suggested the two collaborate in songwriting together which led Hynde to do something she hasn’t done in decades–form a brand new band, Chrissie, JP Jones & the Fairground Boys.

Now the pair is embarking on another collaboration. They plan to launch a vegan clothing line in the fall, according to Spin Magazine.

No other details were revealed in the interview, but let’s hope that between the two of them, creative, ethical and possibly even professional attire for both sexes will be available to those with the highest clothing standards.

A performance of Chrissie and JP singing “If You Let Me,” can be viewed above.

Stella McCartney has designed another article of clothing to benefit the McCartney family Meat-Free Monday campaign, designed to encourage people to eat vegetarian once a week to lessen the impact raising livestock for food has on the environment.

This t-shirt features a print from Stella’s mother, the late Linda McCartney, who was also a champion of vegetarianism and more than likely responsible for the family adopting the ethics.

This Dish is Vegetarian reports the shirts will be launched this month in Stella’s store in Bruton Street, London. It is also available online for $215. A portion of the proceeds will support the Meat Free Monday.

“Alice + Olivia” Stacey Bendet Going To Hell For Fur Wearing Vegans

Written by Vegetarian Star on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 in Fashion, Fur.

Stacey Bendet

Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet won’t put anything except a plant in her mouth, but when it comes to designing her fashions, her ethics are a little less loose.

She’s aware of this contradiction and knows very well there’s a special place in hell for vegans who wear fur, where she’ll meet foxes, rabbits and chinchillas who will skin her alive, replacing her hide with bad, retro fashion from the 70s.
