And as a mother, she never fails to give advice on how vegan parents can be better at raising their children.

There’s always some controversy on vegan mothers, vegan fathers, pregnant and nursing vegans, and the like.

The issue over whether a not a vegan can breastfeed is yet another myth Bialik is publicly busting.

Queens Elementary School Offers First All Vegetarian Lunch Menu

A public school in Queens has become the first ever to offer an entirely vegetarian menu to its students.

Children at PS 244 elementary can now take advantage of lunches containing items such as roasted chickpeas, braised black beans with plantains, tofu veggie wraps, vegetarian chili and roasted tofu with Asian sesame sauce thanks to a partnership with the New York Coalition for Health School Food, a non-profit dedicated to “introducing plant-based foods and nutrition education in schools.”

Los Angeles Schools Adopt Meatless Mondays

Children attending schools in Los Angeles Unified School District can now eat vegetarian at least one day a week.

Last month, the second largest school district in the country took meat off the menu for Monday, joining dozens of other educational institutes, corporations and health care companies that have made it easier for employees and patrons to eat healthier.

Dr. Jenn Berman has given a lot of relationship advice, whether it’s been on VH1’s Couples Therapy, her SiriusXM radio show, in any one of her books or in her private practice.

Now she’s dishing out great tips for parents who want to raise vegan children.

“I love being a vegan because I know that I am not contributing to the pain and suffering of animals on a day to day basis,” said Dr. Berman in a video for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

“For me being a parent and raising vegan children–it’s a philosophy. It’s not just what we choose to eat and don’t eat.”
