Country music star Laura Bell Bundy has teamed up with PETA to remind pet owners never to leave a dog or other animal in a car on a hot day.

Even if temperatures are tolerable outside, the inside of a car can become unbearable as PETA said in a press release.

Alicia Silverstone has shared some of her favorite veg spots she either visited or learned about while filming Vamps in the Detroit, Michigan area.

The vegan foodies on the West Coast may get jealous, because this midwestern town is home to so many veg-friendly establishments, they’ll no longer be able to claim California as the mecca for eating meatless.

Demi Moore Gets Wish–No Bullhooks On Elephants In Atlanta

Demi Moore wrote a letter to officials on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners yesterday asking them to vote to ban elephant handlers from using bullhooks on elephants in traveling circuses in Atlanta, Georgia.

Anyone who doesn’t give in to Demi obviously has something wrong with them, so thank goodness the commissioners saw the light and elephants in Atlanta can expect less pain and torture.

Demi Moore Wants Bullhooks Banned From Circus Elephants (Video)

Demi Moore is standing up for circus elephants in Georgia. The handlers of the circus are currently allowed to use bullhooks on the animals, but the Fulton County Board of Commissioners is taking a vote on Wednesday that would forbid trainers from doing what is already banned in county zoos and sanctuaries.

Memorial Day is one of those meaty holidays where you demand the carnivores cook something veggie far, far away from the meat on the grill. Sea Shepherd New Vessel Named After Activist Brigitte Bardot

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has renamed its newest vessel, formerly called “Gojira,” to honor a former actress with a long history of animal activism.

The Brigitte Bardot will sail through Libyan waters in the next week to protect blue fin tuna from poachers.

Sophia Bush has been doing her homework on the veg diet–mainly through assignments of reading Alicia Silverstone‘s vegan diet, lifestyle and cookbook, The Kind Diet.

She hasn’t quite made the transition yet, but she’s sure that day is coming.
