Her outfit is obviously very different from traditional combat wear, but we bet if every female solider copied her style, it’d make peace talks a lot more easier!

Pickler gets her fabulous American body from a steady diet of vegetarian food, even while on the road.

Vegan actress Emily Deschanel has always worked with show producers to incorporate vegetarian and/or animal welfare ideas into the Fox primetime hit and it appears Season 8 will tackle to issue of keeping exotic animals as pets.

Michelle Obama has announced the winners in the White House’s Healthy Lunch Contest. The champion chefs will be invited to a kids’ “state dinner” where some of the lnches will be served.

The winning list is very vegetarian friendly, with some vegan options, such as the Vegan Sloppy Joes and Kale Salad. There’s even a winning tofu recipe.

Here’s a list of some veg-friendly kid-approved recipes that won Mrs. Obama’s taste buds.

Lady Gaga Meat Dress Born This Way Tour

Lady Gaga may have irked some vegetarians with any one of her several meat outfits, but during a trip to the Windy City, Gaga stopped by the Chicago Diner, home to some of the best vegetarian and vegan diner-style food.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Gaga ordered a black bean burger (aka The Black Mamba) from the Lakeview neighborhood restaurant. She later visited Karyn’s Cooked in River North on Friday for another plant-based meal.

Montell Owens of the Jacksonville Jaguars has been named ambassador for Vega, a line of vegan protein powders, nutrition bars and other supplements created by vegan triathlete Brendan Brazier.

Owens was inspired by his wife’s vegetarianism. She introduced him to Brazier’s best-selling book, Thrive. He later realized that Vega products would be the perfect supplement to his plant-based training diet.
