Tobey Maguire likes vegan ice cream in the Boston area so much, he had to come back for seconds.

Last month, Maguire visited FoMu, a vegan ice cream shop with coconut-based creams.

He made a second trip back to the shop, where FoMU Tweeted that he ordered, “Salted Caramel, PB, Cinnamon Sticky Bun w/ mochi, gummy bears, & salty peanut.”

Maguire has been in the area filming a new flick, Labor Day.

Alicia Silverstone will soon be spending many late nights snacking on hummus and pretzels while at her laptop. The actress has announced on his blog she’s writing two new vegan lifestyle books as follow-ups to her best-selling cookbook, The Kind Diet.

The Kind Mama will focus on vegan pregnancy and parenting while The Kind Diet Cookbook will offer more delicious vegan recipes like The Kind Diet did.

Last year, the couple apparently hit a rock after Jennifer refused to eat vegetarian.

Candy Crowley is set to be the first female moderator of a presidential debate in 20 years.

The CNN State of the Union television show host is a conservative who’s been covering campaigns for years, including George H.W. Bush’s.

Crowley is a vegetarian who made the switch while on the campaign trail covering for the former president.

“I was on the campaign trail covering George H.W. Bush and grabbed a bite to eat at a little restaurant down South,” Crowley told Rachael Ray. “I ordered venison, but there was just something about how the meat looked. That was the last piece I ever put in my mouth. I’ve been vegetarian ever since.”

Mischa Barton says she feels healthier now that she’s following a vegan diet.

The actress says she’s no longer being strict about what she eats as long as it’s animal-free.

“Mischa’s grown tired of doing extreme fasts and cleanses to try and drop weight quickly and then putting it all back on. She’s healthier than ever, following a vegan eating plan – but she’s not calorie counting,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling Heat Magazine.

“Mischa’s been through the wringer with her body. Her weight has massively fluctuated over the years, after falling off and on the diet wagon, but now she’s giving herself a break,” she added.

Venus Williams hosted a garden party for her sportswear clothing line for men and women, EleVen.

The Wall Street Journal reports there were vegan protein bars and other animal-free treats served at the event, including refreshments from the company she is a franchise owner of, Jamba Juice.
