Venus Williams enjoys many of the drinks at Jamba Juice, a franchise she has ownership in.

But if you ask her what she’d prefer after a long day on the tennis courts, she’d probably name the Triple Revitalizer Juice Blend.

The mix contains juices from carrot, orange and banana and also just happens to fit the athlete’s vegan lifestyle.

“I can tell you I’m very excited to be a franchise owner,” Venus said of her involvement with the company. “For me, this is beyond my dreams. It supports the healthy, active lifestyle that I promote, so this is amazing.”

“I was a meat eater, basically a Tyrannosaurus Rex. I love steak (and would eat it) every single day, twice a day. And (then) I would eat my salad second, and then candy galore. I literally had to change that and become a vegan. It’s definitely a huge life change, and I still love the smell of steak. But, I’m not perfect, and I’m making the change. I think it’s for the best.”

We already know tennis champ Serena Williams likes supporting her sister Venus Williams by avoiding eating animal products when the two dine together. As part of her regime to fight an autoimmune disease, Venus adopted a vegan diet not long ago.

Now we learn the pair has given itself a nickname, “the cheagan,” or cheating vegans, because even tennis superstars succumb every now and then.
