She also knows the pleasure of indulging in a dairy-free, gluten-free cake.

The Jersey Shore star posted a picture of a dessert she ate for her birthday, which fit the above criteria, on Instagram.

“Gluten free and dairy free vanilla strawberry cake with chocolate covered strawberries yummmmm.”

Martha Stewart Living has compiled a list of favorite recipes.

Stewart’s talent for seitan is just as good if not better than her uses for steak so it’s no surprise that out of the 27 dishes put into the collection, there are several suitable for vegetarians.

There are three categories for Stewart’s favorite dishes: Chicken, Pasta and Healthy. And while most (even chicken dishes) can be made vegetarian, Stewart’s Tofu French Fries are a truly vegan dish that require no substitutions.

Dr. Jenn Berman has given a lot of relationship advice, whether it’s been on VH1’s Couples Therapy, her SiriusXM radio show, in any one of her books or in her private practice.

Now she’s dishing out great tips for parents who want to raise vegan children.

“I love being a vegan because I know that I am not contributing to the pain and suffering of animals on a day to day basis,” said Dr. Berman in a video for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

“For me being a parent and raising vegan children–it’s a philosophy. It’s not just what we choose to eat and don’t eat.”
