The model revealed to US Harper’s Bazaar that’s she given up meat.

“I just became a vegetarian, and I find it a little hard to figure out what to eat, so I just bring stuff from home,” Campbell told the magazine in a feature titled “24 Hours with Naomi Campbell.”

Katherine Jenkins “Believe” The Vegetarian Rumors

Chelsea Flower Show - Press & VIP Preview Day

Katherine Jenkins is releasing a new album, Believe, on October 27 2009 and the mezzo soprano singer is probably ready to dodge the bullet of rumors regarding her off stage personality any minute now.

In the past, some have labeled her demanding and difficult.

“I am definitely not a diva,” she said.

Oh, good. And she’s no assault by cell phone Naomi Campbell either.

“For starters I have never thrown a mobile phone at anyone. It is so not me to do something like that. I would never ever.”

“There is always a grain of truth in things that are written, like me ordering a vegetarian meal. But I’ve been a veggie for three years, so what else would I eat? My mum would sort me out if she thought I was acting up – and give me a good slap.”

Katherine took some heat from vegetarians when she agreed to sing at Harrod’s Department Store, the same store that Leona Lewis turned down to open, because it sells fur.

Naomi Campbell “Black Girls Rock!” Fur Real Or Fur Fake

Written by Vegetarian Star on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 in Fur, Fur Real Or Fur Fake, Models.

The Fourth Annual Black Girls Rock!

Knowing Naomi’s background, common sense says we really don’t have to ask this, but to be fair to the supermodel, here goes…

Naomi Campbell recently attended the fourth annual Black Girl Rock! event at the New York Times dressed in this black fur shrug.

Naomi once pretended to be anti-fur, then had a bad change of heart and professed how much she loved it.

But it’s okay, according to Naomi, because she “made up with that PETA guy” anyway.

Take a look and decide for yourself.

Did Naomi shrug off fur at the event?

Is she fur real? Or is she faking it?

Naomi Campbell: And The Dennis Basso Fur Flies

Written by Vegetarian Star on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 in Fur, Models.

05_Flatbed_2 - AUGUST

A couple of months ago, we brought you the news that Naomi Campbell agreed to pose in a series of ads promoting fur clothing by fashion designer Dennis Basso.

Campbell had previously worked with PETA in “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaigns, but withdrew her support after the animal rights group targeted fashion designers.

Naomi added the statement, “I do like wearing fur and I still do.”

Celebrity animal rights activists are appalled and Paul McCartney has written a letter to Campbell, according to the New York Daily News.

According to Campbell, she and PETA have embraced each other with love and all is forgiven.

“Yes, I am still wearing fur,” said Campbell, “but I’ve made up with that guy from Peta.”

Don’t know what Campbell means by “made up with” but we’re sure flashing the former coat of an animal for vain fashion purposes takes a lot more than a kiss and hug for anyone-PETA person or not-to get over.

Naomi Campbell Plans To Look Ugly In Fur Campaign

MTV Europe Music Awards 2004 - Arrivals

Photographed here in what seems like second skin for her, model Naomi Campbell has announced plans to star in a fur campaign for designer Dennis Basso.

Although Noami once had principles and starred in a “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign for PETA, she tossed those faster than a clothing switch at a photo shoot and criticized the group for its tactics.

“When PETA started targeting (Vogue editor) Anna Wintour and (designer) Karl Lagerfield and putting dead animals on their plate, I felt that they went too far and I thought, I didn’t want to be a part of this campaign anymore.”

She added, “I do like wearing fur and I still do.”

Well, now.

Naomi isn’t winning some over at monsterandcritics.com, where commenters are giving their two cents.

“She has brought all the negative feelings about her on herself with her disgusting actions.”

“This woman Naomi Campbell may be beautiful on the outside but inside she is very very ugly. In the past she was part of an anti-fur campaign but obviously for her it was only skin deep! Money rules and her compassion for anybody but herself is obvious. Fur only looks good on the true owner: the poor animal that was abused and tortured for a stupid coat!”
