Rossdale has good taste in fashion and women, as PETA reports that both her and his, “fur-free wife, Gwen Stefani, are teaching their children to be kind to animals.”

Pamela Anderson‘s milkshake will bring all the boys to the yard, or at least to Millions of Milkshakes on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, as she’ll be making a vegan milkshake for the company on Friday April 9 at 3 PM.

Pamela’s vanilla-coconut-pineapple blend will be appropriately titled the “Pamela Anderson.”

Pamela told Millions of Milkshakes:

“I am working very hard and having the time of my life on Dancing with the Stars – I have made some great new friends and tried to learn some cool new steps – but I did want to take a few minutes to prove that one can create a truly delicious treat without having to rely on any animal products in the process. It is going to be a Vegan Vanilla Coconut Pineapple shake! I’ve always liked to shake things up so I’m thrilled to create the first vegan item on the menu – and at the same time I hope to get to meet some fans and to thank everyone for their support and their votes.”

Pamela joins the list of other celebrities who have made signature shakes at Millions of Milkshakes, including Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, The Kardashians, Reggie Bush, Gwen Stefani and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Jessica Alba Getting Vegan Super Food For Mother’s Day

Written by Vegetarian Star on Friday, May 8th, 2009 in Actresses.

Arrivals From The Historic Health Summit GalaSo she screwed up her vegan icing. Big deal! The cupcakes were still delicious nosh and Jessica Alba made a good effort to give baby Honor Marie Warren a healthier, non-dairy sweet. This woman deserves a vegan Mother’s Day basket!

BoKU Superfoods, the same company that gave away vegan Earth Day goodies to stars like Ellen DeGeneres, is giving several celebrity moms, including Jessica, a package filled with organic, kosher, and vegan goodies.

“When people consume a diet filled with super nutrient-dense foods, they can maximize their genetic potential for health and well-being,” said B?KU™ Master Formulator, Dr. BJ Adrezin. “B?KU™ Super Food is formulated to give people a potent boost in the right direction.”

Other celeb moms selected to receive their superboost are Angelina Jolie, Tori Spelling, Nicole Richie, Camila Alve, Gwen Stefani, Minnie Driver, Rebecca Romijn and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

What do  you think of all these “superfoods” anyway? Are items enriched with particular nutrients any better than seeking out plain, regular food that’s naturally filled with vitamins and minerals?

Superfood or supergimmick?

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale after a Halloween party, Gwen dressed as an egg and Gavin as the bacon

The lovely Hollaback girl Gwen Stefani and her hubby Gavin Rossdale went to a Halloween party with their children and decided to play big kids and dress themselves up as bacon and egg.

That’s right. Bacon, for Gavin, the VEGETARIAN. We can only hope he was imitating Lightlife’s Smart Bacon or some other veggie substitute. Of course, Gwen’s costume could have been something worse, like fur. But it would have made things stressful for the couple when it came time to split the candy. The pork costume wearing ex Bush frontman is vocal about the fur industry and was once quoted as saying:

“The person I love would never wear fur. Fur just makes me think of shallow women who have no conscience. The fur industry belongs to a time when people were selfish beyond belief. If you were some ancient tribal cheiftain, and there was not a department store nearby 350 years ago, I’d understand. But now, we have synthetic fibers, and it’s not necessary. The elitism of fur makes me wanna puke.”

The elitism of bacon costumes makes us wanna puke. Hopefully next scary season Gavin will dress up as a humble tempeh block.

Thanks Ecorazzi
