He Should Have Gone Vegan a Long Time Ago:
“Oh my God, if I was a vegan when I should have done this thing, man? I remember when I became a vegetarian and my game changed. I couldn’t imagine if I was a vegan back when I was playing. The thing about the NBA, any pro sport, is, guys don’t know how to take care of their body.”

Fall Out Boy is back after a brief hiatus.
Fans of the band have seen it go through a lot of changes since its birth in 2001, but those who have been around can still remember hit tunes like “Sugar, we’re goin’ down” and “Dance, Dance,” like it was yesterday.
The guys have seen members come and go and some have started families. But the one thing that hasn’t wavered in the last decade or so is the diet of drummer Andy Hurley.
Hurley has a podcast with PETA2 where he discusses how much veganism has changed–for the better.

It’s much easier to motivate people to save the Earth if they aren’t being lectured too hard or are at least having fun with it.
Gilbert used these principles when writing the different sections of The Imperfect Environmentalist, making it a priority to humor her readers as much as she educates them.

“We don’t support breed-specific legislation — research shows that bans on certain types of dogs are largely ineffective and often a waste of public resources.”
“As an alternative to breed-specific policies, the CDC recommends a community-based approach to prevent dog bites. And ultimately, we think that’s a much more promising way to build stronger communities of pets and pet owners.”
–The Obama Administration, in response to a petition from opponents of legislation that bans certain breeds of dogs. The official response from the White House cites two decades of statistics on dog bites and people who use abuse and neglect dogs to state their point on why such laws hurt rather than help animals.
