Los Angeles Schools Adopt Meatless Mondays

Children attending schools in Los Angeles Unified School District can now eat vegetarian at least one day a week.

Last month, the second largest school district in the country took meat off the menu for Monday, joining dozens of other educational institutes, corporations and health care companies that have made it easier for employees and patrons to eat healthier.
