Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan has made the official announcement he’s no longer adhering to a 100% vegan diet.

The WWE athlete claims this is no longer feasible because he’s develop soy sensitivities.

“I became a vegan for health issues and then I developed a soy intolerance. So, I’ve been getting really sick lately. it’s a very unmanly way to stop being vegan, to have a soy intolerance. [Laughs.] But I was getting sick all the time, and they were trying to figure out what it was and they found out it was the soy.”

“Being on the road, being vegan and trying to get your protein in other than soy, there’s just nothing to eat. There’s soy in everything. Most of the vegan things you can eat are tofu dishes and whatnot, made out of soy.”

Lady Gaga Meat Dress Born This Way Tour

Lady Gaga‘s meat dress will be preserved a little longer than beef is in your stomach at the “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power” exhibit at the National Museum of Women and Arts.

The exhibit is meant to highlight women in rock music who’ve also struck the rights cords in humanitarian issues, such as women’s rights.

The event is a nice tribute to female rockers, but while we’re on the subject of  being pro-woman, it’s  best to touch on the fact that a diet consisting of what Gaga has worn on several occasions is about as far backwards as blocking ladies from voting.

Jon Fitch

Jon Fitch can be added to the list of mostly vegetarian celebrities who’ve been mislead about the health benefits of adding meat to your diet.

The MMA fighter stated he has started to occasionally add animal products because it’s difficult to gain weight without them.

Bloomberg Nathan's Contest

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg was caught celebrating the not-so-art of competitive eating at the recent Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest.

His action of cheering on the consumption of over 60 hot dogs in a day and even stuffing his own face with one did not by any means undermine his strong stance on keeping New Yorkers healthy, as the New York Daily News mentions he, “did not wash it down with a big soda.”

Thank goodness.

Forbes

Who says the vegetarians and vegans are self-righteous?

Forbes cites a survey among vegetarians and meat eaters that proves plant eaters are much more open to lip lock with a carnivore than vice versa.

The study, conducted by Today.com, polled 4,000 members of online dating site Match.com between the ages of 18 and 75 (yes, grandpa still gets the ladies) about what they’re looking for in a partner when it comes to diet.
