Billy Corgan has been an advocate for animals used in the fast food industry before.

He’s joined forces with PETA in asking KFC to source its chickens from suppliers that treat them more humanely.

Now he’s back with PETA again, this time educating officials at a pizza restaurant on the practice of dehorning calves.

Snoop Dogg has undergone some serious life changes recently.

The hip hop star has done a Prince number and changed his name–not to some weird looking symbol but to another animal.

Snoop Lion has also decided it’s time to follow the path to spirituality more closely by giving up meat, a connection that’s harder for him to break than the dogg chasing the cat.

Matisyahu

Matisyahu last made the vegan news with a declaration of his love for greens.

“I feel dark green vegetables are really important, so every day i try to have some type of dark greens, whether sauteed or grilled or steamed, or in a juice,” he told Vegetarian Times.

Potatoes wouldn’t be the same without the (faux) meat, and a reuben sandwich with tempeh can be made even healthier by substituting greens for the fries.
