The authors of Betty Goes Vegan, a cookbook created by Dan and Annie Shannon that veganizes many traditional recipes from the classic Betty Crocker cookbook, were guests on Today.

The Shannons discussed several reasons for eating meat and dairy-free versions of Betty Crocker’s chicken recipes.

The NBC hit television series Chicago Fire has added a four-legged character to the drama featuring Firehouse 51– a lovable dog named Pouch that was found during a trip with the Chicago Fire Department last summer.

Portlandia‘s Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein visited New York City’s independent bookstore Bluestockings with podcaster/comedian Julie Klausner where they had the chance to look and chit chat about a few vegan cookbooks among other works of literature.

January is almost over and it’s hard to believe an entire year has gone by with another round a great vegan books you can find at independent stores, online, secondhand shops and even yard sales.

Wolfgang Puck Oscars Governors Ball Menu Has Vegetarian Dishes (Video)

Wolfgang Puck will be catering his 19th consecutive Oscars Governors Ball in February, and he’s already given a glimpse into the menu that celebrities and guest can feast on in the The Ray Dolby Ballroom on the top level of the Hollywood & Highland Center after the ceremony.

This year’s changes include smaller plates and more buffet style dinner options, with a total of 50 dishes to choose from.

Like previous years, Puck’s menu has something for Hollywood’s vegetarians and vegans.
