It’s Mildred’s Vegetarian Restaurant featuring appetizers, sides, main courses, wine menus and more.

She’s even got a favorite entree.

‘It’s small and relaxed and has a great little private dining room my friends and I sometimes hire. Try the pan-fried halloumi with spinach and cherry tomatoes,” Lewis said.

The only problem? She needs recipes!

In a recent Tweet, the Bleeding Love singer said, “I’ve been vegan for a few days now, I’m trying it for the whole month. Any recipes you can recommend?”

Carrie Underwood‘s VH1 Behind the Music bonus clip has the country music superstar explaining how her life growing up on her parents’ cattle farm prompted her to go vegetarian.

“My whole life we always had cows,” Underwood said. “Everybody had cows. People had sheep, people had everything,” she continued, referring to the farming community she lived in.

“I’d eat my hamburger and we’d have like spaghetti or baloney or hot dog or whatever and I just never thought about it. Never crossed my mind what that used to be.”

Missy Higgins has released another album, The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle, which she is currently on tour promoting.

Although the singer-songwriter has been very active in animal rights, due to her schedule, it’s impossible to keep any right now, but at home in Australia there’s a cat waiting for her in case she does get a break.

“I have a cat that lives with my parents. I would really, really love to have animals but I travel too much,” Higgins told Pollstar.
