Film star Jenna Jameson has just finished shooting an ad for PETA, slamming McDonald’s for the way it treats and kills chickens.

The 30 second clip will debut sometime in the fall, but here’s a sneak preview of how Jenna educates the public as part of PETA’s McCruelty campaign.

“If you ask chickens, there’s no such thing as a ‘Happy Meal.’ Chickens killed for McNuggets are dumped onto conveyer belts. Their fragile legs are slammed into metal shackles. … Spinning blades meant to cut their throats often tear through their wings or bodies instead. Many birds survive this terrifying, painful process, only to be scalded to death in defeathering tanks. There’s a less cruel method of slaughter that renders chickens unconscious, but McDonald’s chooses to allow birds to be mutilated and scalded instead.”

The actress has worked with the animal rights group in the past, posing for an ad advocating spaying and neutering pets.

Kate Moss has angered her boyfriend Jamie Hince, by buying a blanket made of rabbit fur.

Hince is reportedly a staunch vegan, and a source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Huge conflict has flared up between the pair over what Jamie claims is Kate’s disregard for animal welfare.”

“He is a strict vegan who won’t even touch cow’s milk and is horrified by Kate’s insistence on wearing fur and having it round the home,” the source said of the guitarist in the British rock band The Kills.

This wouldn’t be the first time Kate has disgusted a veggie pal with her choice of furnishings.

Stella McCartney wasn’t too pleased to attend the supermodel’s 35th birthday bash at her home, where Moss has fur rugs and dead animals hanging on the wall.

Heather Mills has been sporting a sleek, short hairstyle for some time and she has recently revealed that not only does it serve the purpose of giving her a new look, but it’s much easier to manage now that she’s swamped with the business of her new vegan cafe, V Bites.

“I decided I had no more time to keep drying my hair with having to work late and get up early for the new V-Bites café and restaurant, factory, travelling, school drops, etcetera, so I chopped it off back to how I had it in my twenties.”

“I asked a local village hairdresser if she would do it, and thought what the hell. She did a great job. I love it. It’s easy. I now just wake up and run my fingers through my hair, as it’s a just-got-out-of-bed look – after a great night in bed, of course!”

Of course, Heather’s new do surely requires less products to maintain it, which means less waste in terms of packaging.

And you thought she couldn’t get any greener with her vegan diet!

The great raw Queen Ani Phyo catered a private event recently, and after all the hard work she stopped by to party with Good Charlotte twin Joel Madden.

Joel was spinning for a party at a West Hollywood hotel, but took the time to pose for the camera with Ani, who complimented him and partner Nicole Ritchie for making such great green efforts.

“Joel Madden is married to gorgeous Nicole Richie, and they’re both committed to living eco green. For their 2nd child’s room, they choose non-toxic paints for the walls, organic cotton sheets, and wood products made from reclaimed sustainable wood from the Brazilian rain forest.”

Ani has catered to several stars, including the band Maroon 5.
