Daniela Sea, actress from The L Word, will be out at SunPower Natural Cafe tonight from 7PM-10PM.

Not only is this your chance to meet the actress who played the transgendered computer whiz  Moira/Max Sweeney, but a portion of your meal eaten tonight will be donated to Farm Sanctuary.

If Daniela’s not a good enough reason to get out tonight, head to SunPower Cafe any night from April 8-14 and 10% of your bill will still be donated to Farm Sanctuary.

Whether you like PETA or not, you have to admit they do have their own successful MTV/Vh1 channel thing going with all the celebrity PSAs they have recorded. You could probably do a top 10 countdown of “Best Of” every year if you wanted to.

The latest is done by actress and musician Daniela Sea, who plays the computer tech Moira/Max Sweeney on Showtime’s The L Word.  A quote from Daniela in her video:

“The meat industry doesn’t want you to think about all the animals they are torturing and killing. And they definitely don’t want you to think about all the diseases related to eating meat. Their only concern is making a profit. Along time ago I made a decision to quit eating meat and dairy products…”

Farm Sanctuary, an organization created to combat issues of animal abuse on farms,  will be holding a benefit on December 4th, 2008 at the Art Director’s Club in New York City.

“Winter Wonderland,” will feature gourmet food from NYC’s best vegetarian restaurants, a silent auction, and of course, celebrities to mingle with, like Corey Feldman.

Sure hope he’s wearing more than what he was in the Give Peas a Chance ad, which played upon one John Lennon and Yoko Ono did years ago. New York’s a little cold in December for that, Corey.

Other notables you might get to rub elbows with are Jennifer Coolidge, Peter Max, Patrick McDonnell, Tatum O’Neal,
Daniela Sea, Ally Sheedy, Princess Superstar, Loretta Swit, and
Justin Theroux.

General admission tickets are $100, so if you’re a young, freshly graduated from college adult or pinching pennies, put some back from your paycheck you got TODAY. It’s for a great cause and will put you in the mood for the season.

And who knows? Corey might not be wearing much after all.
