Nothing sadder than a fallen vegan.

Heather Mills was voted off the ITV1 reality TV show Dancing on Ice.

Heather performed to Aretha Franklin‘s “Chain of Fools.”

Heather spoke to GMTV about her departure from the show.

“I’m actually just full of joy that I was so lucky to be able learn to ice skate with Matt,” Heather said.

Heather had the show’s producers find her a pair of leather-free skates for the competition.

Heather Mills Launches V-Bites Restaurant

Hard work calls for celebration.

The Mirror reported the contestants on Dancing on Ice were given chocolate skate shaped cakes for their efforts, but not every competitor was delighted.

“Only vegan Heather Mills moaned about them,” said a source.

Heather probably moaned from disappointment rather the discontent, as she knows there are plenty of good vegan cakes in the world to reward yourself for a good day on the ice.

Like the homemade vegan cakes (some of which are gluten-free) in her own restaurant, V Bites.

Heather probably keeps a few slices in her locker, next to that extra pair of blade covers.

Heather Mills “Dancing On Ice” Vegan Skates

Heather Mills Has A New Look And A New Cause?

Heather Mills will be ice dancing in completely leather free skates on this season’s Dancing On Ice.

While this may not be a surprise to those that know Heather is an all in one vegan chef, activist and business owner, it may be surprising to learn obtaining a vegan skate is sometimes harder than earning a perfect 10.

The producers ordered skates for Heather made with completely synthetic material called Clarino made by the skate company Riedell.

“Heather is adamant that she will not wear leather, which is barely a step down from fur as far as she is concerned,” a source said.

“It was part of her conditions for going on the show, which also include an insistence that all her refreshments are vegan.”

“Vegan boots are not unheard of in ice-dancing because leather needs so much looking after, but they are not the standard by any means.”

Heather Mills Has A New Look And A New Cause?

Heather Mills is competing in this season’s Dancing On Ice, which premiers tonight at 9PM on ITV1.

According to The Evening Times, Heather took the time to bring vegan cakes to the show’s participants this year, but is trying to stay away from the dairy and egg free desserts herself.

“I am looking forward to wearing my catsuits but I’ve had to be careful not to put weight on and stay off my vegan chocolate muffins!” Heather said, according to The Sun.

Fattening up the competition is a great way to gain an edge.

UK Film Premiere: Valkyrie - Arrivals

Suzanne Shaw is not the only Dancing on Ice contestant that knows a veggie diet’s good.

Model Melinda Messenger told the Swindon Advertiser how she’s dropped four dress sizes since she’s started her training for “Dancing on Ice”, a TV show in the UK where contestants do just that-dance in ice skates in the rink for the judges.

“I have never felt so physically fit and healthy, my skin is firmed and toned and I feel as though I have my 18-year-old body back,” Messenger said.

The grueling routine requires a top notch diet and Messenger stocks up on vegetarian foods like pasta, potatoes, and noodles when she’s training.

“I am a vegetarian so lots of healthy veg is great for keeping in shape.”

In a crazy world where people fear carbohydrates, it’s good to know Melinda recognizes keeping good complex carbs meat free is the secret to unlocking energy and staying fit.

Next time you’re hungry, follow Melinda’s direction and have some meatless meatballs over your spaghetti.

Theatregoers' Choice Awards Launch 2009 - Arrivals

Suzanne Shaw is a British actress and winner of Series 3 of the UK TV show, Dancing on Ice, where celebrities are paired and dance on ice in competition.

“Dancing on Ice,” is going on tour soon, and Suzanne was looking for a way to keep fit in the meantime and cutting out meat from her diet did the trick.

“I’ve gone vegetarian – well, I’ve been eating fish, but no meat. I’ve been eating loads of veg and cut out fatty foods and alcohol.”

“I went off meat a little while ago and thought a meat-free diet would be the one for me. And it’s working – I’m feeling good on it,” she added.

“I’m not going to break my diet yet – if I do, I won’t be able to get back in shape in time to start rehearsals in January for the Dancing On Ice tour.”

Hopefully, Suzanne will never break her “diet.” Then, she may never have to “get back in shape,” again.
