Alicia Silverstone spoke with Entertainment Tonight about her new line of organic beauty products, Juicy.

Silverstone said she was motivated to put her name behind the product because she cares so much about health.

Because the skin is so absorbent, with all the chemicals contained in most cosmetics, Silverstone said you “may as well drink them.”

Find out what chemicals you may be drinking at the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database, where you can search for more than 69,000 products, view ingredients and data on safety and long-term use.

Alicia Silverstone makes a debut on ABC’s Suburgatory tonight that seems a little type-casted.

But what vegan wouldn’t mind the honor of being, as Seattle Pi writes, the “farm-raised lass from Montana who instantly has George eating the crunchy, non-processed granola out of the palm of her hand.”

Silverstone’s character Eden meets George at the local Farmer’s Market and things get so steamy we don’t want to know what they do with those fruits and vegetables.

Alicia Silverstone has teamed up with Juicy Beauty, a cosmetics company that specializes in natural and organic ingredients, to create a line of beauty products for the skin and lips.

Silverstone didn’t just agree to put her name and face behind the product. She actually took part in the testing process.

Alicia Silverstone‘s baby is two years old!

Not her newborn baby boy, Bear Blu, but her other vegan pride and joy–the website dedicated to the vegan diet and lifestyle, TheKindLife.com.

Silverstone has been blogging vegan recipes, advice on veg children and breastfeeding, exercise and more since the site started as a component to her best-selling book, The Kind Diet.

And now, she’s giving away a bag of goodies in honor of the celebration.

Alicia Silverstone‘s fans know the actress could probably eat from the same bowl her dogs do. Silverstone placed her pets on a vegetarian diet years ago and has seen positive results.

“Since I changed their diet about 10 years ago, they’ve had no fleas or itchy hot spots,” she said. “Their immune systems got so strong that those things don’t bother them anymore.”

Silverstone told the British edition of Ok! magazine that she plans to raise baby Bear Blu on the same diet she ate to nurish him during pregnancy.
