Here Comes Honey Boo may soon add tofu to the saga of tiaras.

In a recent episode of the TLC reality show starring a six year old beauty pagent queen, the discussion of whether or not mayonnaise can be included in a vegetarian diet is brought up.

Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon refuses to eat mayonnaise with Mama because she’s become a vegetarian.

Maybe she means she’s become a vegan?

The Bachelor Sean Lowe snagged himself a great little vegan gal on season 17 of the reality dating TV series.

Catherine Giudici is a 26-year old graphic designer at Amazon.com by day and a vegan food blogger by night.

Lowe chose Giudici over a group of other (probably not vegan and not nearly as cool) women.

According to Wetpaint, Giudici took the vegan plunge after a trip to Kenya.

Honey Boo Boo

Alana Thompson, the star of TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, a reality TV series about pageant life for a toddler, has a new pet chicken she named “Nugget.”

Thankfully, Nugget is anything but one, however, PETA would like Alana to consider rerenaming Nugget just as a reminder that because of his intelligence, sentience and capability for love, he belong at the table and not on it.

Life After Top Chef - Season 1

At first mention, Life After Top Chef sounds like a knock-off of a celebrity reality TV show where 80s and 90s one-hit-wonders, teen heartthrobs and the likes attempt one more shot of fame before finally losing their complete hairlines.

But it’s actually an exciting series from Bravo featuring Top Chef‘s big names that are already doing quite well like Fabio Viviani, Richard Blais, Spike Mendelsohn and Jennifer Carroll, who’s opening the vegetarian-friendly Concrete Blonde in New York City’s West Village.

“Cupcake Wars” Approaches Vegan Treats Danielle Konya

In addition to having a large celebrity clientele, Konya may now be given more fame by appearing on the Food Network sweet competition, Cupcake Wars.

Coming from an area in Maryland that is big on crabmeat, Helene Leeds said her mother threatened to disown her when she switched to a vegan diet.

The Masterchef finalist isn’t used to making crabmeat and that’s probably why she performed poorly during the challenge on Gordon Ramsay‘s Fox television series.

It’s too bad she couldn’t show off her cooking skills with the vegan dish that got her into the top 36 finalists.
