Backstreet Boys Go Vegetarian For New Kids On The Block Tour

Singer Nick Carter has finally told meat, “quit playing games with my heart.”

Carter and the rest of the Backstreet Boys have gone vegetarian for their upcoming tour with New Kids on the Block.

“We’re getting a lot of rest and have switched over to a vegetarian diet,” Carter told Celebuzz. “I’m trying to get my brain clear and ready for everything that’s to come.”

Diggity Donuts Food Network

There’s Alicia Silverstone. And Russell Simmons. Now Biggest Loser coach Bob Harper has admitted to Star magazine that every once in awhile he slips…a little animal product between those lips.

Not to worry, the interview is filled with equal amounts of information on animal sanctuaries and the benefits of eating plant-based and whole foods, so Harper is still doing his part to promote almost all things veg.

Offensive Melons And Burgers Top Ad Agency Complaints

Sexy Fruit Ad

This photo of fruit strategically placed for effect was one of several ads that generated the most complaints to the New Zealand Advertising Standards Authority in 2010.

Granted, even when speaking of someone’s “melons,” we usually don’t refer to them being located in that region, so it’s easy to understand why the ad for Erotica Expo in Auckland drew controversy.

But there’s another ad that might spark some fuel for vegetarians that also made the top offensive.
