Alberto Contador

After a controversy over doping, three-time Tour de France winner Alberto Contador has decided it’s just not worth it to have a steak here and there.

The newly vegetarian cyclist tested positive for a banned drug that is used in the livestock industry to accelerate growth in cattle. He blamed it on tainted meat he and his teammates ate while on the road and was later cleared of charges.

The maker of the glove, Carpenter Trade Company, says several athletes like Alex Rodriguez and Roy Halladay are opting for synthetic styles and adds these will be the “industry styles of the future.”

Zabriskie has maintained the diet for nine months with good results.

The WWE superstar went vegan on the recommendation that it would stop some recurrent infections he was experiencing and never went back after being cured.

“As a WWE Superstar, staying healthy and having a lot of energy helps me succeed in the ring—that’s why I choose to be a vegan,” Bryan said.
