Looking for a place to relieve yourself after consuming that 9-grain, whole wheat seven-bean and lentil wrap complete with kale?

Head over to one of the many “fart patios” the raw vegan restaurants in Portlandia offer.

In another hilarious skit from the IFC comedy, visitors to the Prassad Cafe need not offend other guests with the gas that naturally comes after a healthy meal as the fart patio provides a way to let nature take its course without taking away everyone’s appetite.

If you’re visiting a vegan cafe that doesn’t have a built-in fart patio, may Vegetarian Star suggest you pack the vegetarian alternative to the gelatin containing Beano, Bean-zyme.

Watch the clip for fart patios below.

Jonathan Krisel, Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen

In a first ever for the IFC, Portlandia, a comedy-sketch series that pokes fun of the left, has been renewed for a second season before season 1 has wrapped up.

Portlandia stars Saturday Night Live veteran Fred Armisen and his co-star, Carrie Brownstein, as they portray various characters that parody all things liberal. During the first episode, Armisen and Brownstein play a couple dining at a restaurant that professes to serve humane food that comes complete with a file on all the animals used for food,  including their photos. Not willing to take the waitress’ word, the couple pays a visit to the farm where the chickens are raised. This farm happens to be ran by a cult consisting of one man who happens to love multiple women, but makes room to enjoy his “Peter” (Armisen) on occasion too.

“Portlandia” is a new IFC series that picks up on mocking the green, progressive lifestyle where the not as successful animated series The Goode Family left off.

Premiering Friday the 21st on the IFC, Portlandia takes place in Oregon where “the dream of the 90s is alive,” meaning no character is left without a bicycle to ride around town, a recycling bin in the backyard and goes a week without patronizing the locally owned coffee shop and bookstore.

Obviously food is a huge part of living green and the first episode features a couple dining at a restaurant that professes to serve humane chicken. An intense investigation takes place at the table, resulting in the waitress bringing the couple a file with the chicken’s photo and a lengthy sheet about its diet and the space it actually had to roam during its lifetime. There is a file for each chicken eaten, complete with name. This one’s named Collen.
