“I love to encourage people to rescue animals. All things animal rights is really where my heart is. I’ve been a passionate vegan for three years. Anything from animal out of my diet. Same thing goes with my clothes and everything else. I really got into it because I love animals, and then it turned out it’s actually the healthiest for us, too.”

“I want my jokes to be at a higher level. I want jokes with premises that really tap into something. Carlin did something where he really made people aware of political issues and environmental issues while making people laugh at themselves. He was calling people out on their stupidity in a way that made them laugh about it. That’s a skill. I would like to get there. It doesn’t have to be environmental. I am vegan, so I would like to do some animal rights jokes, but it would be more about the suppression in society.I would like to somehow take those serious issues and make people laugh about it.”

British comedian Jimmy Carr has lent his face and public financial faux pas to a PETA UK campaign for vegetarianism.

He sparked controversy when he was accused of being allegedly involved in a scheme to avoid taxes that got the reprimand of Prime Minister David Cameron.

But eating meat and dairy may be costlier on a country’s tax system because of the high costs of medical treatment for diseases linked to animal products.
