Republican Roy Brown Accused Of Inappropriate Vegetarian Relations

Written by Vegetarian Star on Friday, November 7th, 2008 in Politicians.

I did not have relations with that veggie burger…I did indeed have relations with that veggie burger.

In the midst of ugly, negative campaigning Republican candidate for Montana governor Roy Brown got smeared by the Democrats. He said they accused him of being a…vegetarian.

Sure, politicians are no angels, from past drug use to current prostitute use but a vegetarian? Shameful.

“I am not and have never been a vegetarian,” Brown said.

“I am disgusted by the baseless allegation that I am a vegetarian and that my personal eating habits should somehow be construed as opposed to the economic interests of Montana’s livestock industry.”

However, he did admit to, ahem, relations with a vegetarian lifestyle. He said he temporarily cut back on meat and dairy in order to please a dying loved one who couldn’t eat those products.

“It was the least we could do to make the life of a loved one more comfortable at a very difficult time,” he said.

Here’s how the rumors got started. Brown’s neighbor, Pat Etchart (the dirty little instigator) sent an email to Dennis McDonald, Chairman of the Democratic Party in Montana that contained saucy details of how Brown invited her and her husband over to his house to get acquainted. One thing led to another, and Brown allegedly said that he and his wife were vegetarians. (They probably wanted them to recipe “swing” and try something new. Sooo dirty.)

Like OMG! The Montana cattle ranchers would so totally not like that and probably not vote for him. That’s probably what Etchart thought when she was sending the email.

Makes you wonder how far some people will go to drag a candidate through the mud. Did spies follow him to the grocery store?  Should he have submitted his lunch burger to DNA tests to confirm it was real cow?

Doesn’t really matter now. Sometimes dirty campaigning pays off. Brown lost.

Pregnancy Makes Female Celebrities All Weird And Meat Seeking

11th Annual Hollywood Awards - Arrivals

What is it about pregnancy that makes some women go off on the meat hunt?

Brooke Shields was a vegetarian for over a decade until her pregnancy when she decided she thought her body “needed” meat.

Bryce Dallas Howard kept to her vegetarian ways, but gave up being vegan because she was afraid of not getting enough amino acids in her diet.

And Jennifer Connelly’s bun in the oven made her say, “Gobble, gobble.”

From an interview with Marie Claire Magazine:

“I’d been vegan for many years, and then all of a sudden when I was pregnant with Kai, I wanted a turkey burger. That was the end of my being vegan.”

Uh, the end of being vegetarian too, unless it was a Tofurky burger.

But hormones can do some good things for a famous mother to be. Rebecca Romijn sent Jerry O’Connell to stalk the non-dairy aisle of the store when she wanted her soy cream cheese.

Still wearing fur? Maybe you should get yourself professionally evaluated, according to Leona Lewis.

“It’s such an old school way of doing things. I can’t begin to imagine that people who know all these animals have been killed to make a coat can still wear it. There must be something seriously wrong with them.”

Life In A Metro UK Film Premiere - Inside Arrivals

Just because the election is over, doesn’t mean you have to wait awhile to exercise your rights. Petadishoom, the youth Bollywood version of Peta, is holding it’s second annual Sexiest Vegetarian Contest.

Lots of hot Bollywood celebrities, like Mr. Abraham pictured here, are in the running, including Kareena Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Shahid Kapoor, R.Madhavan, and Mahima Chaudhary. There are even some Hollywood people running on the ballot, including Alicia Silverstone and soon to be singing star Joaquin Phoenix.

Last year, Kareena Kapoor and R.Madhavan got bragging rights. From the list above, they’re running again, but with all the drastic political upsets that took place in the U.S. on Tuesday, there’s no telling what could happen.

So do your duties. After you’ve finished salivating over the picture of John, of course. Need to have a clear mind before making important decisions.
