Watch Dallas Mavericks In NBA Finals In Vegan Friendly Pubs

Who said bar food was about chicken wings?
The Dallas Mavericks are hosting Miami Heat in Game 4 of the NBA finals on Tuesday, June 7 at the American Airlines Center and any vegetarian and vegan fan has plenty of places to watch the game on big screen while enjoying a good snack.
Located on Elm Street, Anvil Pub sounds like the best place for a vegan ball fan to be on the night of the game, considering it serves items with vegan cheese, vegan sour cream, veg chicken, nachos and chili.
Pagasus News, which reviewed several vegan-friendly pubs in Dallas, warns that vegheads pay more than meat eaters and not just because the items are more expensive. Apparently, there is an upcharge on all vegan items. Yep, everything in Texas is bigger, including the price to feed a vegan basketball fanatic. But according to one reviewer on Urban Spoon, you definitely get what you pay for:
At Anvil Pub, as a beer-drinking vegetarian food seeker, you will not be restricted to order mozzarella cheese sticks and French Fries for once. You will not be saying to the waitstaff “I’d like Buffalo Wings, hold the Wings”. Can we just go somewhere to have a beer, eat good beer food, and not feel gross afterwards? Yes we can…finally.
This pub recognizes that beer lovers can be animal and planet lovers too. Its green kitchen vows to abstain from frying to avoid releasing hazardous fumes into the atmosphere. Numerous veggie options from a green kitchen does its part for the environment while keeping our stomachs full.
Load up on vegan cheese fries, vegan pizza and vegan burgers at Anvil Pub tomorrow night as you cheer for the Mavericks.
