White Castle has gone vegan!

Okay, okay, just kidding.

We’re just talking about its veggie slider buns.

The fast food chain has decided to use vegan buns to accompany its already vegan burgers.

That’s worthy of an award from PETA!

White Castle Candle

White Castle has a scented stick for those that enjoy the aroma of cooked cow smothered in grease plus pickles and onions.

According to Gizmodo, the candle was created in honor of the 18th National Hamburger Month in May.

While most vegetarians would rather smell cow dung than cow candle, this could be a way for those who gave up meat not because it tasted horrible, but because of animal or environmental reasons, to get their kicks without the real thing.

Think of it as the placebo that keeps you from relapsing that only costs around $10.

Fast-Food Restaurants Cater To Late-Night Hunger

CBS’ Undercover Boss features the lives of people in executive positions at well known businesses as they attempt to blend in taking entry level positions and working alongside employees.

As expected, the first few days on the jobs don’t always run smoothly.

Dave Rife, owner of White Castle, goes undercover and accidentally ruins batches of hamburger buns.

On a more positive note, Rife suggests to an employee that suffered a heart attack that the company will start a wellness program.

Sounds great, but only if the program rewards the employee with eating less from the job.

A plant based veggie burger is a bigger investment towards reducing health care premiums than access to a company treadmill that the employee will jump off after 30 minutes, only to scarf down several animal fat filled double bacon cheeseburgers at team member price.

Health rewards points are great.

An employee discount card at Whole Foods is even better.

Premiere Of Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle - Arrivals
“There’s a big scene where we do finally make it to White Castle and eat some burgers. And the producers had the food technicians make some really good veggie burgers that looked like meat. I probably ate about 30 of them.”

—-Kal Penn, who played “Kumar,” in the movie Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. As a vegetarian for cultural, religious, and ethical reasons, he needed a little change in the script in order to perform his role.
