Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello have collaborated in a new YouTube clip that is part of a series of advertisements to promote a new line of meat-free dishes in the Linda McCartney food brand.

Costello, a vegetarian since the early ’80s, said, “Linda always talked well and made it seem that you wouldn’t be joining a secret weird society by being vegetarian.”

Chipotle Testing Tofu Burrito “Sofrita” In San Francisco

Vegetarians in the Bay area can now enjoy another item at the more environmentally conscious food chain Chipotle.

The company has unveiled it’s sofrita–a burrito made from shredded tofu–to be tested at select San Francisco restaurants.

The Unofficial Downton Abbey Cookbook by Emily Ansara Baines is just one of the five unhealthiest cookbooks of 2012 as declared by the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.

One serving of one recipe from the book, “Squab with Fig Foie Gras,” is said to contain more cholesterol than 10 Big Macs and as much fat as 12 tablespoons of lard.
