Ellen DeGeneres has Tweeted on a local Los Angeles shelter’s campaign to give more animals a home for the holidays.

The Best Friend’s Animal Society’s campaign to promote shelters in the L.A. area has several recommendations for those that love animals like Ellen.
Available pets for adoption can be browsed from your computer and there is a special discount being offered from now until December 12 through the Found Animals “12 Pets of Christmas” promotion.
Those who’s homes are already filled with four-legged presents can still help with the cause by either donating their time at the shelters, fostering animals on a temporary basis or using online media to spread the word through their websites or blogs.
