Vegan friendly President Bill Clinton is one of the celebrities who will be honored at the 11th annual Starkey Hearing Foundation‘s annual So The World May Hear gala.

The event is meant to raise awareness about deafness and the hearing impaired and award those who’ve made a positive effect on the world.

During his presidency, Clinton wore hearing aids in both ears.

The gala will include live performances by stars like Miley Cyrus, Reba, Meat Loaf, LIBERA and Kevin Costner and Modern West.

According to the Starkey Hearing Foundation, hearing loss effects 1 in 10 Americans and 63 million children worldwide. The foundation delivers hearing aids to people in countries around the world through its missions and has provided over 500,000 hearing aids to people in need since 2000.

Last year’s So the World May Hear gala raised $7 million dollars for the organization.
