Unfortunately, it isn’t unheard of for a celebrity to make a gruesome appearance on stage involving animals, dead or alive.

Ozzy Osbourne bit the head off a bat, which landed him at a hospital for a rabies shot.

Russell Brand, now a vegetarian, used to smash dead animals on stage.

But would vegetarian Kesha use a real animal’s heart as a prop and drink blood from it during one of her performances?

Carnivore, animal, is she a cannibal?

During her performance at the Brisbane Future Music Festival in Australia earlier this month, Kesha pulled out what appeared to be a dissected heart and squeezed what resembled real blood from it during the middle of her performance of “Cannibal.”

Massive rumors filled the web that the prop was real, but viewers who attended reassured everyone dollar symbol girl didn’t pay any $$$ for something real.

Duh, PETA could have told you that.

“We don’t know her personally, but given her great record on animal issues, we imagine it was fake,” PETA executive Dan Mathews told E! News.

The singer once said, “I just love animals, and I’m an advocate for animals rights, and my family has rescued dogs from all over the world. I don’t believe in animal testing. If you see me in fur, it’s always fake. Sometimes you see me wearing skulls, but those are all from roadkill.”

Fake fur, fake animal heart and fake blood. Kesha’s a true vegetarian vampire.
