Travis McCoy has won a PETA Libby award for most animal friendly hip hop artist.

All those plugs on his Twitter about his latest vegetarian meal eaten paid off.

Travis has also starred in an anti-fur ad.

He failed, however, to stop Katy Perry from stuffing her face with pepperoni before the two broke it off.

Maybe Russell Brand will pick up where Travis left off.

Nothing’s better than sharing the good news of vegan food.

Travis McCoy got The Ghost to try a vegan buffalo wing and we think The Ghost is converted.

“I got Ghost to a vegan buffalo wing! And the verdict: “These shits bang shen!!!!!”

We think that means they were delicious, tasty, bad ass, etc.

Much confusion in the land of blogging.

Gym Class Heroes front man Travis McCoy revealed his favorite spots to hang while in New York.

One such place is Curly’s, which makes sense, considering Travis says he’s been a vegetarian for the past 5 years.

Another joint you might find him in is City Crab. And when asked the reason he frequented there, his reply was, “I go to eat crab legs, bro. Copious and disgusting amounts of it.”

Is Travis  one of those crabby pescetarians?  

Now granted, Travis is known for his bizarre humor, as he once said his last meal on earth would be a dinosaur burger to compensate for the fact that he’s been abstaining from meat for so long.

And it’s kind of strange he would mention both a vegetarian and seafood restaurant as two of his faves.

Travis McCoy, front man for the musical group, Gym Class Heroes, likes his bunnies. And we’re not talking about Playboy bunnies (but he may like those too).

The vegetarian singer is starring in a PETA ad against fur.

“Bunny Ears, Not Bunny Fur,” is a playful way for Travis to encourage people not to wear real fur made from animals such as rabbits, which often comes from countries with few to no animal welfare standards, resulting in horrible treatment for the animals such as being skinned alive.

Not to mention how rude it is to take someone else’s coat!

Travis’s ex-girlfriend, Katy Perry, had said her New Year’s Resolution was to be vegetarian, but it was probably out of reach because she liked chicken too much. Unfortunately, because of the break up, she won’t even have this veg man to encourage her.

Sigh…Ending relationships can have devastating effects.

When lead vocalist of alternative hip-hop group Gym Class Heroes was asked what his last meal on earth would be, he suggested an entree completely different than what he’s used to eating.

“I’ve been a vegetarian for about five years now, so I’d probably just have the biggest, grossest carnivorous meal ever. Maybe like a human leg or a brontosaurus burger.”

A vegetarian for half a decade and suddenly he wants to get cannibalistic? Or visit Jurassic Park to hunt for his dinner?

Since he suggested a “carnivorous meal” as his last one, it’s probably safe to say he’s one of those vegetarians that misses his real meat and likes the imitation variety.

His longtime girlfriend, singer Katy Perry, who’s recently denied rumors they are engaged, said she wanted to make a New Year’s Resolution to become vegetarian, but thought it would be hard because she liked chicken too much.

Travis expressing his desire for flesh sure doesn’t do much to encourage her. Craving for chicken is one thing. How will she ever be convinced there are substitutes that taste just like T-Rex?
