The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - Arrivals

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and you slackers better head to the mall quick.

Even if your mom isn’t the best in the world, she still deserves some love this weekend as she can’t possibly be worst than the television mothers featured at televisionwithoutpity.com.

They’ve compiled a top 10 list of TV’s worst moms and Desperate Housewive’s Marcia Cross‘ character, Bree Van De Kamp is on the list.

Bree has a rap sheet longer than Bernard Madoff’s scam list of evil mommy deeds, including going against her daughter’s wishes and forcing her vegan grandchild to eat a hot dog.

Yep, that definitely marks her off our Hallmark and FTD list. No vegan chocolates either. She’s lucky if she gets a phone call. And even that will be collect.

Other bad mommies of the year star in Prison Break, Heroes, Gossip Girl, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Can you guess who they are? Visit televisionwithoutpity.com to find out!

Beso New Years Eve Hosted By Eva Langoria

A new year is here and everyone has started to make their resolutions, including Hollywood stars.

Us Magazine compiled some celebrities’ resolutions for 2009 and one Desperate Housewife wants a kitchen without meat.

When asked what her New Year’s Resolution was, Eva Longoria answered, “To give up meat.”

While Fergie isn’t necessarily leaning towards vegetarian, she did say she was “trying to go organic” and “eat more raw” was included in her goals, which means if she keeps this promise, she’ll definitely be chowing down on more vegan foods. She’s getting married to sweetheart Josh Duhamel in less than 10 days, so she might have to put hers on hold ’cause wedding cake usually isn’t raw.

Sneaky meat eating Aisha Tyler said she just wants to be happier. Well, now that mom and dad aren’t making her eat horrible tofu, we guess she will be. Boo!

Kanye West may have a hard time keeping his resolution, though. “My resolution is to be as nice as possible to the press.”

Ha! How long do you think that one will last?

Read other celebrity resolutions and tell us if you have any as well.

The Veggie Turmoil On Desperate Housewives

Things don’t always go as planned, expected, or sanely as desired on the ABC hit television series “Desperate Housewives.” But the ladies of Wisteria Lane manage to entertain viewers every Sunday night with endless family, men, and girlfriend issues.

The latest drama involves Bree (played by the lovely redhead Marcia Cross), her daughter Danielle, and Danielle’s child Ben. Little Ben once lived with Bree and Orson and the two pretended to be his parents while Danielle was out in whatever land. Danielle returned, married and wanted her child back. Now Danielle wants to raise Ben as vegetarian, but Bree isn’t too excited about this. (Not sure when Ben was told who his real mother was, but maybe it was somewhere in between all of that mess.)

Bree, evil as a mother can be, manipulates little Ben into eating a hot dog! (A real one, not soy.) As predicted, Danielle is McSteamed

Since you stuck around after all of that and are thankful this is TV life and not yours (or maybe it is?), we’re rewarding you with some veg related quotes from the show. Enjoy!

Since I realized meat is a by product of murder. – Danielle answering Bree’s question as to why she is now a vegetarian.

It’s like tofu, only better. – Ben after tasting his first hot dog (ah…the decline of morality in young people these days starts with what’s on the plate)

You gave him meat and you asked him to lie? – Danielle to Bree after seeing pieces of meat in Ben’s vomit. (Shame on Bree, introducing those bad morals on such a young child. Should have known she was going to get caught.)
