“I am a vegetarian but I have a sweet tooth, so I go to this wonderful bakery in New York called BabyCakes. It makes amazing vegan cakes, which are glutton free and often sugar free, egg free and dairy free. The vegan apple-pie is incredible—it is my favourite dish.”

Fans that follow Anne Hathaway‘s diet (by reading about it, not snooping through her trash for DNA-laced wrappers you can sell on eBay) know she’s rumored to be an on again/off again vegetarian and vegan.

As of last May, she was roasting chicken. But a recent interview with Metro reveals she’s back on and standing up to the peer pressure of sushi.

If you had any doubts about Anne Hathaway‘s current vegetarian status (as she’s always flip flopping), look no further than this article because nothing says I’m no longer vegetarian than discussing how much fun it is to feel up on chicken with a buttered hand.

This coming a little after a year after announcing she was a full blown vegan on television

“The other day I roasted a chicken that I have got to say was awesome. But I used a lot of butter and it’s not hard to make chicken taste good when you use a lot of butter. I am not a very imaginative cook, I follow recipes, but I really do enjoy it. That and baking. I used to be a vegetarian but obviously I am not a very committed vegetarian when you roast chicken.”

But wait! There’s more chicken stories and tales of eating crickets and working up the balls to eat intestines.

X17 Online claims they caught Anne Hathaway going through the In-N Out Drive through.

Hathaway has been reportedly trying to stick to a mostly vegan diet.

In the picture on the site, it looks like Hathaway’s friend is the only one caught carrying the burger bag.

More importantly though, when is In-N-Out going to get with it and offer veggie burger selections on the menus like other traditional fast food burger joints who have learned to do the same (aka. Burger King).

82nd Academy Awards Nominations Announcement

Anne Hathaway plays the White Queen in the upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie directed by Tim Burton.

While Anne was studying the role and getting into character, she came to the conclusion that the White Queen was a total vegan punk.

“When I was trying to work her out, I kept saying to myself, ‘She is a punk-rock, vegan pacifist.’ So I listened to a lot of Blondie, I watched a lot of Greta Garbo movies, and I looked at a lot of the artwork of Dan Flavin. Then a little bit of Norma Desmond got thrown in there, too. And she just kind of emerged. And I really like her. When I first came on board the project, Tim talked a lot about the relationship between the sisters, and that really opened the character up to me a lot. She comes from the same gene pool as the Red Queen. She really likes the dark side, but she’s so scared of going too far into it that she’s made everything appear very light and happy. But she’s living in that place out of fear that she won’t be able to control herself. There’s a lot to play around in. It was awesome. I had so much fun.”

Since Anne is known to flex in her diet, it was probably no issue for her to snack on nuts and salad while eating like the White Queen peacemaker.

Alice In Wonderland is scheduled for release in March.

Anne Hathaway accepts her award as Woman of the Year at Harvard's Hasty Pudding event in Cambridge, Mass

Anne Hathaway was honored as Woman of the Year by the Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals student drama group.

The star in roles from The Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada sat on top a red convertible as she moved along with the parade in the snow.

According to the American Chronicle, before the parade, Anne and her family enjoyed a vegetarian meal in the Upstairs on the Square restaurant, consisting of “winter greens and Honeycrisp apples, hand-rolled fresh ricotta cannelloni stuffed with seared mushrooms, walnut pesto, cream spinach and aged gruyere and, for dessert, warm apple bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream.”

The after ceremony celebrations contained veggie food as well, including hasty pudding.

You don’t have to be man or woman or the year to celebrate with the traditional New England dish.

Try the recipe for hasty pudding yourself, which can also be veganized.

Talk about learning something new everyday.

According to Fitsugar, Alicia Keys revealed in a recent issue of US Weekly that she’s all about living the veg life.

“I’m a vegetarian, so I also eat lots of greens and rice,” Keys said.
