Quantcast Vegetarian StarPink Shares Bare Abs And Eating Tips With “Women’s Health”

Pink Women's Health October 2013

Pink is showing off her ripped abs for the cover of the October 2013 issue of Women’s Health.

“I’ve worked hard for this body,” Pink said during an interview and photo shoot for the magazine.

The work involved to get a stomach like the pop singer who follows a mostly vegan diet includes 60-90 minutes a day of cardio work like martial arts, running, hiking and yoga.

Especially yoga.

“My favorite workout right now is hot yoga,” Pink told Women’s Health. “But my favorite workout in general is my show, being onstage, because I get to have fun while I’m sweating! I don’t even know how many calories I’m burning.”

Eating right is just another half of the battle she fought to keep off her 60 pound weight gain from her pregnancy. Except for the occasional fish and chicken, her plate is normally filled with plant-based proteins, grains and vegetables from her garden.

“My go-to carbs are couscous and quinoa, and brown rice,” she said. “We also have a big garden. That’s where I get the arugula for my yummy salad, which I make with sautéed asparagus, halloumi cheese, and lemon juice and truffle oil.”
