Alyssa Milano “Maxim” Interview Shows The Vegetarian Actresses Survive

Alyssa Milano is 40 years young and looking hotter than ever on the cover of Maxim‘s July/August issue.
The former star of the wildly popular 80s sitcom Who’s the Boss and the current ABC series Mistresses discussed life growing up on the camera with the magazine and how it can affect child stars.
“That was an era when TV child actors just didn’t work after their show was over,” she said.
Eighties wonder teens may have completely opposite career ends today, but it’s interesting that Milano feels another child actress who’s continued with her success as much as she has just happens to also follow the same diet.
“I think Christina Applegate and I are the only two who maintained some sort of career path past the shows that launched us,” Milano said of the fellow vegetarian actress.
Both ladies have been outspoken on the vegetarian and animal welfare lifestyle. Milano encouraged people to cook vegetarian in their homes during a “Food Revolution” event created by Jamie Oliver based on the same concept as his ABC series. She’s also been honored by the National Wildlife Federation Gala.
Christina Applegate posed for PETA in a very seductive holiday greeting card reminding shoppers to buy fake and not real fur products.
