Neil Everett Of ESPN PETA Ad Names Pets Most Valuable Players (Video)

Neil Everett is said to love animals just as much as sports.
Maybe that’s why he’ll do an interview with a duck over an NFL player.
In a PSA recorded for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Everett is flanked by several shelter pups.
“I’m always a fan of the underdog. And these are underdog dogs,” he says.
“I would encourage you if you are considering a pet to at least visit a shelter and give it a try. There’re some beautiful dogs. They’re just looking for love. So that makes up just like us.”
There are plenty of reasons why you should root for the underdog or a pet in the “minor leagues” as opposed to those in pet stores or from a breeder.
Reducing the numbers of euthanized dogs (and cats) from several million is just one of them.
Hear what Everett has to say on the responsibilities of owning a pet in the video.
