Carrie Underwood Celebrated 30th With Vegan Pizza

Carrie Underwood marked the third decade of her life eating like a single because her husband Mike Fisher was ill.
The country music star had only a couple of days to break from her tour and her plans for a romantic celebration with the professional hockey player were cut due to a bout of the flu.
From Contact Music:
“I was like, ‘I only have 48 hours. I want to do my laundry and go out to dinner.’ But Mike got the flu, so I ended up eating vegan pizza. By myself. I was like, ‘I’m not mad at you. I do not want you going anywhere, because I know you feel awful. But I do expect a redo!'”
A raincheck with the hubby sounds great, but spending your 30th with vegan pizza topped with items like soy cheese and vegetables is still worth celebrating.
Hopefull, Mike made up for it with a great gift that animal lovers and vegetarians can appreciate, like gift cards to veggie-friendly restaurants, cruelty-free beauty products or a sponsorship with an animal sanctuary or shelter.
