Comedian and actor Kevin Nealon will host a celebrity poker tournament on March 16 that benefits Farm Sanctuary.
The event will also feature vegan snacks and drinks and a special performance from Grammy winning singer and songwriter Colbie Caillat.
The event takes place at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Conor Penthouse (4th Floor), located at 6060 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles, CA 90036. Doors open at 7:00 PM. The tournament begins at 7:30.
Nealon has named Farm Sanctuary as one of several favorite animal welfare and pro-vegetarian groups.
“I deeply believe in what they are doing and they are doing a great job getting legislation passed to make the lives of animals much better and I am all for it,” the Weeds actor and vegetarian said.
Poker and animal enthusiasts who attend will have the opportunity to challenge Farm Sanctuary representatives, celebrity poker players and other professional poker players for various prizes including trips to Costa Rica, British Columbia and Bermuda. Tickets to musical performances, professional basketball games and the opportunity to sit in the audience during a taping of Dancing with the Stars are also available.
