Pamela Anderson‘s lucky 13th Playboy Cover looks incredibly beautiful and tasteful.

The actress who calls herself “just a sex symbol” proved she’s more than a hot face and bod. Anderson donated the money from the shoot to Waves 4 Water, an organization that provides filters to produce clean drinking water in countries with problems accessing it.

According to Water.org, approximately 1 in 8 people, or 884 million, lack access to safe water supplies. That’s a stark contrast to the lives of most people who may read this post who have endless access to water for necessities like showering, drinking from either tap or bottled and even non essential luxuries like swimming pools and decorative fountains.

Besides getting involved with water charities like W4W, everyone can help the problem of water scarcity by doing activities at home that conserve it, like turning off the faucet while brushing their teeth. And one of the best ways to cut back on water waste is to eat vegetarian like the Playboy Cover girl. It’s estimated the water required to produce one hamburger is enough to take a shower every day for 2 1/2 weeks.

Showering together could save H2O too, but unfortunately, Pamela isn’t auctioning off this experience with her to help draw awareness to the cause.
