Bobby Flay Puts Vegetarian Dish On Bar Americain Restaurant Menu

Bobby Flay is hesitant to put veggie burgers on the menus of his restaurants because he feels he doesn’t know how to prepare them to be palatable. However, keeping his word that he is “sensitive to vegetarian needs,” Flay will be adding a vegetarian dish to the menu at Bar Americain Mohegan Sun in Uncassville, CT. And no, the dish isn’t just steamed broccoli.
From an interview with Theday.com:
Q: Are you going to have a vegetarian dish at Bar American? A lot of vegetarians would love it instead of eating a lot of just veggies.
A: Actually I am putting a vegetarian entree on the menu at Bar Americain next week. It’s baked crepes filled with butternut squash and wild mushrooms.
No indication if the recipe will also be vegan or also offered at the Bar Americain restaurant in New York City. Either way, anything is a good change from Bar Americain’s usual menu fare of fried chicken, duck, pork, lamb chops and lobster.
Finally, something that doesn’t walk, hop, swim or crawl to your table.
