Kristy Lee Cook Says We’re Meant To Eat Animals, Especially The Poor

A former American Idol contestant who wowed the crowds with her southern croons won’t be following the steps of fellow country music star and American Idol alumnus Carrie Underwood.
Kristy Lee Cook is the star of a new hunting television show, Goin’ Country, on the Versus channel where cameras shoot her as she shoots any creature that looks potentially tasty.
Recently Goldilocks shot the bear who was eating her grains and messing with her horses. She never found him on her bed, though.
“That bear had been causing trouble for five nights, eating grain and spooking my horses. He was making a mess of the whole barn,” Cook said, according to Fox News. “One night I was walking in the house and I saw something standing in the door of my barn and I got him in one shot.”
Cook says humans were meant to eat animals and sees the opportunity as a way for the economically disadvantaged to provide for themselves when a garden gets too boring.
“I never used to like killing animals until I got out and experienced it. It’s the food chain. Animals are here for us to eat. In my family we grew up without a lot of money so I take all this meat home and anything that’s left we give to homeless shelters or orphanages so all the meat is going somewhere and I get to feed all these people.”
Never mind that 19 of the top 20 healthiest foods under $1 are vegetarian and 18 are vegan like garbanzo beans, whole wheat pasta, seeds and tofu. Let the poor eat cake. Squirrel, bear and raccoon cake patties.

Predominant meat eating is understandable in really cold climates where hardly anything grows except animals. More temperate climates have more biodiversity, so meat eating shouldn’t be so dominant.

I agree that animals are here for us to eat, and it’s part of the food chain. But we’ve move passed that, its no longer necessary.
