If you’re looking for a great Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa gift for the vegetarian, vegan and/or animal lover in your life, look no further.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has unveiled its limited edition 2013 US Postal Stamp collection featuring several well known celebrities who follow a plant-based diet.
Stars like Alan Cumming, Sarah Silverman, Pamela Anderson, Bob Barker, Joaquin Phoenix, Casey Affleck, Mayim Bialik and many others can be found on this year’s sheet of 20 stamps.
“When people ask me why I don’t eat meat or any other animal products, I say, ‘Because they are unhealthy and they are the product of a violent and inhumane industry,'” Affleck told the animal rights organization.
Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik said: “Even as a child, I felt very guilty about eating animals and never knew that there was something to do about it. And as I got older, it became clearer that there are things that I can do and choices I can make.”
