Quantcast Vegetarian StarSteve Jobs On Veggie Office Food–More Productivity, Less Secrets Spilled

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was the kind of manager that knew good food equals better employees.

As well as less company secrets being leaked.

An article at Business Insider describes how the Apple co-founder affected the lives of a few individuals during his short life on Earth that impacted millions more.

Most who followed Jobs’ personal life knew he was known for his vegetarian eating preferences.

That lifestyle transferred to Apple’s cafeteria, which resulted in employees getting more work done and possibly prevented another tech company from building a better igadget.

When asked how he went about changing the cafeteria culture at Apple, Jobs replied:

“And you know hardly any one was eating here, and when they go off campus they don’t go for an hour, they are gone for an hour and a half or two hours, So less work is getting done. And when they are out in a restaurant talking about their projects, people overhear things.”

“So now our cafe staff are company employees and when the engineers have to work late we can have the cafe stay open. Now we have vegetarian options and more variety. With better food people stay on campus and interact with each other more.”
