Quantcast Vegetarian Star“Cupcake Wars” Papa Ganache Vegan Friendly Baker Helps Children

Cupcake Wars

A bakery that won the challenge on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars is using its publicity to further expand its social efforts.

Papa Ganache was founded by Lisa Siroti, a social worker who also used the business to help children in need.

The increased business from her Cupcake Wars appearance has now allowed her to put more funds into the social service part of the bakery.

Siroti told New Jersey.com:

“We work with children on their self esteem, confidence, productivity, being part of our little community, catching them do something good, and helping kids who have anxiety depression, anger-management issues, and family and peer conflicts. … We provide effective and appropriate interventions to these children and their families so they can function as good as they can get.”

Activities at the bakery include social getogethers and opportunities for children to learn about the baking industry and possibly develop their own culinary skills.

Congratulations to Papa Ganach!

May they have many vegan baking lesson to offer in the future!
