“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” Pet Chicken Nugget Rename Suggestion

Alana Thompson, the star of TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, a reality TV series about pageant life for a toddler, has a new pet chicken she named “Nugget.”
Thankfully, Nugget is anything but one, however, PETA would like Alana to consider rerenaming Nugget just as a reminder that because of his intelligence, sentience and capability for love, he belong at the table and not on it.
“As I’m sure you are learning from your chicken, chickens are smart, interesting animals with personalities of their own,” reads the letter written by PETA rep Michelle Cho.
Cho then recommends changing Nugget’s name to “Not a Nugget” to represent PETA’s campaign to stop eating chicken.
Alana is reminded that she never has to give up the chicken experience just because she stops eating it.
“But don’t worry! You won’t have to give up ‘chicken-nugget power,” continues Cho. “There are yummy vegan-chicken nuggets in grocery stores today that taste just like meat, except no chicken had to die to make them.”
