Quantcast Vegetarian StarArian Foster Goes Vegan And Says Peace Not Meat Is The Answer

Arian Foster

Arian Foster, running back for the Houston Texans, has gone vegan and is telling all his fans about the experience.

“Officially a vegan now. We’ll see how this goes. But week one down. So far, so good. Feels wonderful.”

This announcement prompted many following him on Twitter to Tweet back with comments, questions, criticisms and snide remarks.

Does he eat fish? The chatter got deeper: Is a fish a living being?

Although most aren’t born vegan anyway, someone needed to point out that Foster was breastfed (and we don’t want to know how they knew this for sure), thus drank milk at one point in his life. His reply? “My mom didn’t produce cow milk.”

Yeah. And even if she did that was a long, long time ago man.

Arian added that he never was a big cow’s milk drinker anyway because he hates the taste.

Perhaps Foster’s most enlightening suggestion to the Twitter community was that they stop focusing so much on burgers, steaks and fries and pray for a less restless world around them.

“People feel so strong about meat and milk. I wish they felt this strong about peace.”

Peace. And protein from plant-based sources.
