Alicia Witt Enjoys Raw Vegan At Matthew Kenney Restaurant

Alicia Witt, known for her roles in popular televison series like Ally McBeal, Law and Order and Friday Night Lights, spent some time in Oklahoma to film one of her more recent movies, Cowgirls N’ Angels.
Witt took some very pleasant experiences from her visit, including meeting some of the “nicest people I’d ever met.”
She may have eaten the nicest raw vegan meal ever at Matt Kenney OKC.
The restaurant serves a variety of sophisticated, raw, vegan cusine like its House Aged Tree Nut Cheeses and Condiments, consisting of Smoked Cumin Seed, Truffle Macadamia and Mild Cheddar served with Wildflower Honey, Rye Bread and Pickled Fruit.
Exotic green dishes like the Thai Salad with Red Watercress, Pineapple, Sundried Tomato, Young Coconut and Avocado toss out the idea of a boring, vegetarian salad.
Alcoholic beverages, a juice bar and smoothies blended with almond milk are available to wash any entree down.
Matthew Kenney OKC also offers a complete vegan dessert menu with items like White Chocolate Cheesecake, Candied Ginger Crumble, Grapefruit Marmalade and Tiramisu, Cappuccino Ice Cream.
Owner Matthew Kenney opened several restaurants in the New York city area early in his career before visiting a raw, vegan establishment with a friend in 2003, a move that prompted him to expand his chef skills from steak and potatoes to soba and tofu.
